The "final action deadline" for SB 572 has been extended to Friday, August 10th.
Does anyone know if this deadline extension has any significance to the questions if and when SB 572 will be called for a vote in the Illinois House?

Doesn't mean anything. All existing bills that haven't been voted on (such as the dead-until-next-year civil union bill) have that extended status.
that's not true. there's some modicrum of significance. there are bills that have not seen their action date extended
Looking at the General Assembly site for SB 572, this is the seventh extension. Will there be an eighth?
